Charities and Worthy Causes 2014

The Ellingham and Ringwood Agricultural Society continues to support local and national organisations. We have developed our charitable policy so that we can donate to national and local charities as well as continuing our bursary scheme for agricultural students. This policy comes from the fact that we want you all to enjoy a wonderful show and at the end of the day we want to support those less fortunate than ourselves. The amount that we give away is directly related to how successful the Show is, the more that you all support the Show, the more that we give away.

The Show and executive committees are very proud of the Societies success and in the way that in addition to supporting many different causes, the Society provides members and visitors to the show with a wonderful traditional country show day.

Some of the charities/organisations that we have supported recently are:

The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution
The Meningitis Trust
The Rotary Club of Ferndown
The Sandleheath Sea Scouts
The New Forest Citizens Advice Service
The Ringwood Foodbank
Hearing Dog and Guide Dog training
Hampshire Fire and Rescue/ Ringwood Young Firefighters
Cancer Research/Bournemouth Lieukaemia Fund
The Rotary Club of Ringwood
Woofability
Forest FM Community Radio
Student Bursary Scheme
St John Ambulance

If you know of a charity that you would like us to consider as a beneficiary, please contact the show secretary.

Thank you all very much for your continued support.
